March and April 2014 Meetings

March: Joseph D'Agnese

Asheville author Joseph D'Agnese is an award-winning journalist who has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, This Old House, and many more publications. His science writing has been published in Discover, Seed, and Wired, and was twice named to the annual Best American Science Writing anthology. But it's his short detective fiction he's joining us to talk about: his crime fiction has appeared in Shotgun Honey, Beat to a Pulp, Plots with Guns, and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, to whom he sold three stories in 2013 and has already sold another two in 2014. Join us in March as Joe talks about how he writes and sells his short crime fiction.
